Today was my daughter Sunyee's first day at school.
In good old German tradition she gets a "Schultuete", a cone filled with all kinds of goodies.
The first and the last day are the best days in school.

Re: Irregular updates of my blog

click on the picture to enlarge

The last few days I have been working my butt off, preparing myself mentally for the final push towards whipping up my magazine.
Every decision is good.
Avoiding decisions is the problem.

Not every decision is a hundred percent good or bad.
But the more time has passed,
the more positive will emerge from any decision.

Act Now Day 1
Confront Your Fears

click on the picture to enlarge

We are back again.
Jourdan Sebastian organized another great : "Act Now" workshop.
This time I participate as documentator and assistant art teacher.
We have a great crowd of actors, dancers, artists, writers and musicians.
The beauty of this workshop is that every one is a teacher and pupil at the same time.
Click here to see the pictures of day 1.

Not all of you will remember the rumors of Paul McCartney's demise in 1966.
When you were playing the ending of "I'm So Tired " from the Beatles "White Album" backwards, you can hear somebody saying : "Paul is dead, Paul is dead." (note: You need a vinyl album to try this. Vinyl are like CDs but bigger and usually black) There were many more clues as you can read here.

You have to check out these guys though.
They have dozens of pages of actual proof that Paul did indeed die and was replaced by an impostor.

Advertising Campaign

click on the picture to enlarge

Ok, come on, let me have it.
I know I am such a whore.
I went back to do advertising.
What can I do, the temptation was simply too big.
A friend of mine who runs a bar asked me if I could do something to promote the availability of advertising poster space in his toilets.

Click on the picture to see with what I came up with.
I did it for free that's why I pimp my website on them as well.

Can it get any better?

A large bottle of beer,
a large pizza with extra cheese,
a beautiful girl in your arm and
Frank Zappa bending the strings like ring-a-ding-ding.

Oh yes...

Many bottles of beer,
a family size vegetarian pizza with anchovis,
two beautiful girls in your arms and
Frank bending the strings like ring-a-ding-ding.

Tribes.net Fun

As I mentioned before I've joined : "Tribe.net"
It's a lot of fun.
I even managed to get censored on my first day:

The Stick Insect --

Thanks for being a beta user of Tribe.net.
Although we're extremely glad that you're here and actively participating in all Tribe.net has to offer, I had to let you know that three of the images in your Photo Album violate Tribe.net's Terms of Use.

Specifically, posting "sexually explicit material of any kind" violates Section 5 of our TOU. You can see the entire document here:

http://www.tribe.net/tribe/servlet/template/pub,Terms.vm

Please delete the photos that feature nudity and sexually explicit conduct; otherwise, one of our site administrators will remove them.

You're encouraged to upload alternate images in their place, but please keep the TOU in mind.

Thanks again for being a beta user of Tribe.net -- see you online!

My answer:

Dear TOUghGuy Enforcer,

Congratulations for a great website.

I am so sorry I totally forgot that you guys are based in a country of religious fanatics and censorship.
Of course I don't want to create any trouble for you and I gladly remove any offending material on my photo album.
Without wanting to sound cynical I would have to ask you to please point out to me which particular one of those pictures are the ones which irritate the sensitivities of California's radical liberals?

I love your idea and website. Count me in as a loyal follower and uh, thanks for providing some fun material for my weblog.

Best regards

Andy

In case the pictures are already gone by the time you'll read this, you can still find them here.

Friends, I am not proud of this.
Here is the list of the top 10 keywords of why people find my website:

460 masterbation
321 kacke
131 cut penis
105 stick insect
89 maturbation
78 scary drawings
76 mt. makiling
58 strinberg and helium
54 antonio's tagaytay
47 dont touch my.com

I went and double checked it and by doing so I found this interesting guide:

STEPS IN OVERCOMING MASTURBATION

It is a must read.
It really made me think.
No, not if I should stop the practise but if mankind is worth saving.

There is a very interesting new website called Tribes.net .

What is Tribe.net?

It happens every day. Somebody knows somebody who knows somebody and, suddenly, whatever needed getting done gets done. Tribe.net is quickly bringing this phenomenon to the Internet.

A person joins, invites friends to join, who then invite their friends. Groups of friends come together to form tribes. Everyone here has been invited, approved, and recommended.

Looking for a job?
Finding a roommate?
Need to sell that old couch?
Looking for a dentist?
Need a place to organize your book club?
Want to announce events to your alumni group?

Where do you first look? Your friends! It's one thing to get a lead from the classifieds. It's entirely another to do these things in a trusted, networked, "friends and friends of friends" environment. That's Tribe.net. At least so far.
