My new hobby :
The National Park Redwood Graffiti Beautification Project.
Put some color into those dark, dull forests.

A chat in a bar is still
the easiest and most comfortable way
to acquire information and/or to disseminate it.

I love you

VEERING away from the frenzied malling crowd and turning woes into delightful shopping pleasure is I LOVE YOU!

Away in the asphalt land of Makati and above the revelry of a cafe called Saguijo, there is hidden treasure to uncover! Closets full of yummy clothes. Hope chests brimming with goodies.

The Aggressively Shy Stick Insect Hunter is checking out the art scene in San Francisco.
And I have to say, what I saw so far is pretty cool.
What is interesting is that it isn't very different from what's happening in the Philippines.
There must be some global conciousness.

Andy Candles

Dear loyal readers and friends,

It has been a couple of turbulent years since I started the Aggressively Shy Stick Insect Hunter website and it has been a roller coaster of fun and craziness ever since.

Thanks for your support and commends and don't forget to have fun.

New, from scratch created work is mostly too far out for anybody to comprehend, sometimes even for the person who created it. Those ideas have to be locked up in a dark cellar and left to ripen like a good cheese.

Lubo and a loop around the Cordilleras

Kalinga

As published in Lifestyle + Travel Magazine, Sept/Oct 2004 issue.
Well, not exactly "as" published, more as in written by me before it got published.

I am sitting on the roof of a fully loaded Jeepney which is a locally manufactured transportation device loosely based on actual jeeps which the Americans brought over to the Philippines during the war.
They are built for about 16 passengers including the driver. On an average trip through the mountains of the Cordilleras they usually pack a few more people in and on them. The particular one I am on has 50 people just on the roof alone and that's on top of the luggage, literally.
