041028 Dragonflies

Under certain weather conditions and just before
sunset, millions of dragonflies are taking over the
lowest 15 meters of airspace in front of my house.
They can get as dense as a swarm of locust taking
out everything else stupid enough to fly around this
time. I have watched the dragonflies hundreds of times
but it was only on this particular day that I noticed
that they were all settling down a tree right next
to my balcony.
"She died in a
tragic plane accident,"
I wonder if she would have
felt better if she would have died not that
tragically?

Micha Klein is one of the world biggest Digital Artists.
At Art Statements, 15 of his hi-gloss, hi-tech and highly
intriguing art works will be exhibited. The impact of
Klein's colorful images is the result of the fresh,
overwhelming vitality and the tangible pleasure with
which he has assembled them. The content lies in the
anecdote and tension, loaded with historical and contemporary
symbols including various ecstasy and other pills between
reality, virtual reality and surrealism.
One of the major sources of inspiration for Micha
Klein is today's pop music. His interest in contemporary
techno music and the whole techno scene started in
1988, when he began his appearances as VJ. At dance
and music nights in clubs he rhythmically bombards
fragments of images often short repetitive shots -
to accompany the music and the DJ.
The people look a lot like me
and the place seems familiar.
They speak my language
and I understand what they are saying.
I just don't comprehend why they are saying it.
