Suspected Parahyrtacus Gorkomi

Size male: 6.5 to 7cm without legs
Size female: 8.5 to 9 cm without legs
Size eggs: 2 mm
Origin : Mindoro Island, Philippines
Food plants: Guava, Syzygium, Mango,...
Time Incubation: 3 to 4 months
Time nymphs: 2 months male, 3 months female
Time adult: 4 to 5 months
Comments The female lays about 4 to 8 eggs at a time.
But not every day.
They like to stick their eggs into styrofoam at the bottom of the cage.

They average about one egg a day
One sees them rarely mating.

They are very sensitive to heat
and lack of food and die easily

The female secrete some kind of Nylon like
string. (see picture below)
